Proper Stafford Collars

Every boy needs a dog, and every dog needs a good Collar! Nothing makes me cringe more than when I see a strong powerful dog being controlled or restrained with one of those collars that has a plastic click-in clasp.  plastic click-in clasps are ok for small dogs, I suppose, but those small plastic clasps will weaken over time and snap under pressure (especially when cold).  For Staffords, and all other dogs really, I recommend a leather or nylon collar with metal hardware, as shown in the picture below.image2

If you have a bully breed of dog you really should have a good collar with strong metal hardware, the kind that buckles up like the belt around your waist.  We highly recommend these 4-ply or 5-ply collars in the 1.5″ wide size for your Staffordshire Bull Terrier.  These are awesome collars that last FOREVER.  They come with a nice heavy duty D-ring to attach your lead. Check out Stillwater Kennel Supplies on Facebook to order yours, or ask me for one when you pick up your puppy.
