***** Ava *****
Ava was a pleasure to own. Ava was my first Stafford and I learned a lot from her. She is 15 inches tall and 30 lbs. We brought her home in March 2010 and instantly fell in love with her. Ava loves to run, jump, and play. She is very athletic, very fiery, and very smart. From pulling me on my longboard to tug-o-war, she was always ready to go and never seemed to tire. Ava is my first and favourite Stafford and she will always have a special place in my heart. Ava’s whelped 4 litters for us. Her second litter was the result of an accidental breeding to a dog named Jager. We bought Jager as our first stud prospect not knowing he had an undescended testicle. Later we found out that Jager was also a carrier for L2hga. While Jager and Ava were being dog sat by my parents they accidentally bred. That litter gave us Firestone Rev (below), and Firestone Isle of Skye (Katie). Rev didn’t end up meeting my expectations conformationally and we gave him away. We sold Katie as a pup and ended up getting her back as a sub adult. We assessed Katie’s temperament and I concluded that in my good conscience I couldn’t and wouldn’t breed her. I regret giving her away. Ava was bred 4 times. Two of her litters produced multiple pups that exhibited unstable and human aggressive behaviour. Looking back I see that Ava’s temperament wasn’t as stable as I thought she was at the time. As I’ve owned and interacted with more Staffords I can now see that the temperamental weaknesses she passed on to her pups were from her and not the sire. As a result we have retired Ava from our breeding program.
***** Lexus *****
Lexus is a beautiful girl that we were fortunate to acquire from our friends at Steadfast Staffords in Atlanta. Lexus is a very smart, very athletic, and very gentle girl. But she is also fearless, full of courage, and loves a good challenge. It is such a pleasure to have her around the house. We are very happy with the way Lexus has grown up and are thankful for her contribution to our program. She has matured into a beautiful proper specimen of a Stafford at 16″ and 34lbs. Lexus now lives with my brother and due to no fault of her own has been retired from our breeding program. Lexus’ Pedigree
***** Indy *****
Indy came to us from our friends at Yankeestaff Staffords in Virginia, breeders of Legendary Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Indy is a complete terror ball in the best sense of the word. Crazy, fearless, and confident. She keeps everyone on their toes. We are very blessed to have her influence in our program. She loves playing with the kids and chasing anything that moves. Indy has been an amazing addition to the team and has definitely left her mark on our breeding program. Indy is 14.25″ tall and 30 lbs. Indy has retired to a beautiful pet home.
***** Jupiter *****
Jupiter came to us from Yankeestaff Staffords in Virginia, breeders of Legendary Staffordshire Bull Terriers. He is a good sized boy standing 17.5″ tall but weighs in at a nice 45 lbs. Straight out of the box I liked this boy. He is always alert and very attentive to what’s going on around him. He’s the kind of dog that you can’t help but love and enjoy being around. He has the perfect disposition towards us and towards the other dogs. Jup’s Pedigree
***** Jager RIP *****
Jager was as handsome a Staffordshire Bull Terrier as they came, 16 inches tall and a solid 37.5 lbs. When the opportunity to acquire Jager presented itself in December 2010 we took it. He was strong, loyal, tenacious, extremely good natured, and athletic with a love for life and a passion to play. Jager never failed to keep things fun and interesting. After bringing him home we discovered Jager had an undescended testicle and was a carrier for L2hga so we made the difficult decision to home him. Fortunately we were able to home him with good friends of ours in Florida. Jager was one of my favourite Staffords and will always have a special place in our hearts. Tragically Jager died from seizures at an early age.

“Rev” is a beautiful male Stafford out of Ava and Jager. Bred here at FireStone, Rev is a littermate of Chuck and Tony and lives with his family in Saskatoon.

Tony is a beautiful Stafford out of Ava and Jager. Here he is all dressed up for an evening stroll with his owner around Miami Beach, Florida. Tony is a littermate to Chuck, and Rev.

Chuck is out of Ava and Jager. He lives with his family in Saskatoon, SK.
****** Ringo ******
Ringo is an awesome pup we brought in from the States that developed a severe underbite. We were able to place him in a really great pet home. Ringo is into Agility and is super smart and athletic.
